Art Appraisals - Orininal Drawing

Please understand that in the late 1960s and early 1970s, a company called Ira Roberts produced literally thousands of black and white open edition posters featuring over 30 images by Mr. Luongo. Because the prints look like they could be original drawings, many collectors are under the impression that they own an original drawing. Due to the large number of inquires that we receive, we must presume that you may own one of these collector prints. These items have a value of about $250.00. So at this time, we are electing not to do handwritten appraisals of these pieces as the cost would outweigh the value.

However, if you are certain you own an original drawing, please note that you must take the frame apart to determine that the drawing is on museum board versus poster paper. All of Mr. Luongo’s drawings have been done on 6 ply museum board. In this case, if you would like an appraisal, please submit a jpeg of the image and of the signature. The cost for appraisal is $150.00. Please send either a check payable to Scala Editions, Inc or Fax us your credit card information at 818-988-2668 along with your address and contact information. After receipt of your payment, please allow 30 days to receive your letter of appraisal.

All images submitted for appraisal are subject to the $150.00 charge.
