THE ARTIST

Beverly Bennington

Born into a family of artists and pilots on the shores of Lake Michigan, Beverly Bennington cultivated a passion for painting from an early age. Beverly recalls having always been touched by the beauty and majesty of nature and the creatures within it. As a child, Beverly learned to express her artistic senses through painting, even going so far as to create a mural of horses on her bedroom wall.

Later, Beverly would go on to study at the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago and Ray College of Design, molding her natural talent and learning the skills of the master painters. Beverly’s eye for line and color, depth and composition won her numerous accolades and national recognition, particularly in the area of design.

Remembering back to her childhood days, Beverly still draws on the peace and serenity of nature as inspiration for her works. She utilizes dynamic, rich colors and wonderfully thick texture to create windows into an Eden-like garden. Whether she is depicting the silent beauty of a Koi fish at home in a peaceful pond or the serene magnificence of the great sea turtle in the vast ocean, her works speak to the healing quietness of the earth and the beauty within it. A Beverly Bennington is a celebration of existence. A Beverly Bennington painting is for life.
