Scala Editions is always looking for emerging and mid-career artists seeking representation. We offer representational paintings and are providing guidelines to facilitate the review process.

Portfolios should contain:

• A minimum of five images of recent works accompanied by titles, dimensions, and medium. Photos or digital printouts only.

•Artist biography, listing previous/current exhibitions, education, awards, etc.

•Artist’s web site and /or online portfolios cannot replace actual submissions. If you have a site, include the address.

Portfolios will only be accepted through the postal system and cannot be hand-delivered. Include a self addressed stamped envelope for return. The gallery accepts no responsibility for inadequate postage.

Review typically requires a 1-month turnaround period, during which the gallery will contact the artist with any questions. Submitting artists are strongly discouraged from calling.

After review, artists’ portfolio will either be returned to them via the postal system or the artist will be notified if their art is under further consideration.
